As you read this I will be in transit to NYC.
The last few weeks have been a blur. I've spent time with so many wonderful friends-some very old and some brand new, and I wouldn't trade any of you for the world!
It still seems strange to be leaving Seattle. I've lived there nearly my entire life and spent most of it dwelling somewhere on Capitol Hill which has become less like a chunk of the city and more like a private wild little town full of the best people and the best parties. It will be a bit refreshing leaving it for another city but I sure will miss it.
I want to thank each and every one of my Seattle friends/fans/fabulous stalkers for everything kind word, gesture, hug, glass of champagne, etc that you've given me- not just over these past few weeks, but over a lifetime!
Without you I would be nowhere. Without your support and generosity I would never have found the confidence to be myself and follow my dreams. Thank you for enthusiastically staying by my side through every one of my ridiculous projects be it our GG Alin cover band, my trash can theme burlesque act, my edible wedding cake costume, or now, my career in fashion design. I owe any success I have achieved so far to all of YOU!
I only hope to continue upward in New York to make each of you proud.
