A dreary winter solstice eve in Seattle. I tried to brighten the day a bit by mailing Christmas cards, baking cookies, and wearing tons of rich fuchsia with my vintage Lego earrings. I just bought these leggings and I think I'm going to be spending a lot of time in them despite the fact that they remind me of being a kid in the crushed velvet trend from the early 90s. I think I used to have some hot pink crushed velvet leggings back in the day. I should dig those out at my moms place...

Hype this look HERE!

Vintage velvet turban hat from Redlight, Stewart Lucas NYC lego earrings, Libertine rhinestoned vintage coat, chiffon blouse from Crossroads Trading Co, crushed velvet leggings by Twelve by Twelve, sangria sparkle tights by American Apparel, silver glitter shoes by Forever 21, lilac umbrella from the Freemont Antique Mall (Seattle).

You are such a beauty. I love everything about this outfit, but mostly your hair. Strangely enough, I had a dream last night that I managed to bleach my (currently) red hair to white blonde and then tint it lilac. It was literally my dream hair. I'll just have to envy yours instead :)

  2. How funny! Yeah, I've been mixing my own dye to get it this shade. Luckily, purple counteracts yellow tones so I'm kind of dying and toning my hair all at once!
