Welcome new followers who found me through the Yours Truly Mag interview by the ever adorable Kerry. Haven't read it yet? What are you waiting for?
Yesterday I took a whole day off for Easter fun. It involved sweets, and fluff, and grapefruit mimosas. I wore the one of the sugariest outfits I own, my mint and pink hearts and bows dress that I completely remade from a hideous bridesmaid dress all the way down to relining the sheer fabric. I topped it off with curls and a jacket that was clearly made out of the Easter Bunny (sorry kids). Candy coated fun follows...

It should be quite clear that I made this outfit during my extended sweet lolita faze. I like to dabble back into it from time to time.
I spent the afternoon at a new venue called "Fred" with a group of folks wearing more pastels than a my little pony. I made rose and coconut daifuku which turned out a little lumpy but were much more preferable than the similarly colored deviled eggs.
Me and Fuchsia Foxxx were both clearly having very good hair days! I love the way Cheyenne has matched her blue eye shadow to her blue dress. She has such a gorgeous face. I love Ben's customized hat and broach which invites just the perfect amount of Easter into his Spring ensemble. Jamie Von Stratton was the hottest chick at the party (in a handmade romper and headpiece) but it was a tough contest with Jackie Hell looking so beautiful seated at the brunch table. Matted hair and pearls never looked so good!

I spent the rest of the afternoon locked in a dark gay bar looking at porn and eating sweets until it was time to go to my Moms for dinner. Gogo dancing jesus gave me a communion wafer but it didn't taste like anything. I now have more jelly beans than I know what to do with.
I am also in love with this hair color. I call it dish water blue and I mixed it myself. I think it's a keeper. I hope your Easter sunday was filled with as much surprise candy, pink fur, and gay jesus as mine was!
Dress, earrings and head bow are handmade, jacket is vintage from a shop in Brooklyn, tights and shoes are from Urban Outfitters , Ring is Forever 21 , Gloves are vintage from a shop in NYC, umbrella is vintage from Lucky Vintage , and bag is Angelic Pretty .
