Brief stint in Brooklyn is coming to an end and I can finally stop dressing like I'm on Twin Peaks. It's like the dreary dreary Northwest is following me whenever I'm there and I'm missing out on all the bright colors and sky scraper heels that Manhattan both promises and inspires.
Hop over to Nark Magazine's Facebook page and "like" it to stay updated on the street snaps I've been taking for it. Now that the weather is getting warm (another perk of NOT living in the Northwest) there will a lot more street fashion coverage on my behalf. I'm excited.
Aside from that, all I have to say is MINK BOWTIE.
Hat, sweater, skirt, and bowtie are vintage. Collared shirt is American Apparel. Shoes are Urban Outfitters.

  1. I like your beret :) people in background made me laugh

  2. I love all the pastels you wear, totally reminds me of the '80s. As a pre-teen I rocked the mint and peach together.

  7. you outfit is perfect, you always look amazing.Your outfit reminds me a bit of breakfast club. I brought a vintage suit from a car boot sale it is black, its a high waisted skirt and suit jacket and the buttons are covered in material like your bow tie and im not sure if they are real mink or not is there any way i can find out if its real? has i dont want to wear it if its real. xx

  8. Hi Gem. Suit sounds amazing! The best way to tell faux from real fur is to feel it. Does it feel like your pet cat or a teddy bear? You can also examine the hairs. Are they thinner at the ends than at the base or are they all uniform as though they were manufactured? Are the hairs glossy in the light? You can fake the look of fur but not the feel.
