The Manhattan Vintage Show never disappoints. Over 100 of the best vintage vendors from in and out of state under one roof! It happens about once every season for your wardrobe convenience! I had to avoid the rows and rows of hats like those from Top Hat above. I have too many already!!
The jewelry was incredible- plastics, pastels, and rhinestones everywhere! The spread at De Jewels was the best but I ended up purchasing a wild orange lucite ring and a trio of the coolest bangles I've ever seen from some other vendors.
I also bought an italian red leather clutch and an amazing bright orange 1950s jumpsuit (all pictured above) from Lorry Polizzi, a shop out of Connecticut that always has the best prices out of any vendor at the show. I always find great things at their booth. I like the orange jumpsuit because it makes me feel like a glamorous convict on the run. If I wear it too much I may be tempted to give my self some stick and pokes and take up smoking.
I was freaking out at the show over the original Vivienne Westwood pieces. Being able to see and touch a Sex shirt in person was well... sexy!If only I could afford the $1,200 price. One day I will. Though I'll never dare to wear the shirt once i do. I'll have to frame it...
After watching The Gang's All Here the previous night I was feeling decidedly 1940s so I gave a pleated skirt, wedges, and a liberty roll/vintage hat combo a modern twist with my trusty leather jacket that I know you are all a fan of. Thanks to January Hunt for helping out with photography!
Hat, earring, and ring are vintage. Jacket is a hand me down. Shirt is American Apparel. Skirt is Sheinside. Shoes are from Dry Goods.

You look so much like your Mom back in the day!
If I could touch some original Vivienne Westwood, I would die! Love your outfit as always.

Forever fangirling over the Sex shirt!!! <3 And although I hate orange colour, I'm sure you're gonna put together an outfit that's gonna make me love it. :3

Hey there--Sorry to have missed you. I went to the Vintage Show, too, on Friday. I was covering it for work but even if I didn't have to I would've gone anyway. Spotted the lovely Lynn Yaeger too. I also blogged about it so you can see some pics here.

Good post. I learn something new and challenging. It is always helpful to read through articles from other authors and use something from their websites.
Best regards!
